Oven-Roasted Kale Chips

Last weekend, my neighbor brought over tons of fresh kale from her garden. Kale is not something my family eats on a consistent basis, so I had to do a little research on the best way to prepare it. These oven-roasted kale chips did not disappoint! They were crispy, easy to prepare, and most importantly, delicious! Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 bunch of kale

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • Sea salt, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Using kitchen shears, remove the leaves from the stems and tear the kale into bite-size pieces.

  4. Thoroughly wash the kale in either a strainer or salad spinner. Pat completely dry with a paper towel.

  5. Transfer kale to baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil and sea salt.

  6. Bake 10-15 minutes, until the edges are crispy, but not burnt.
